We'll be launching our new CD - Hollow Hills - at Croxdale Folk Club on Tuesday 16th September 2008...

...Ok, ok, it's been out for a couple of weeks, but now it'll be "officially" out!!!

There is an entrance fee (around £3) but we'll be donating the door to the Woodland Trust (more than likely, we'll be sponsoring a tree or two...).

The CD contains 11 tracks (65 minutes) and be purchased via our website at http://www.brothercrow.co.uk

Hope to see you there,
Graeme,
Brother Crow.

Terrific CD lads. Helped me get through the ironing heap yesterday!.
Now I'm eagerly awaiting your third. Sorry I can't make it to Croxdale tomorrow - have a great evening and say Hello to Mark and Jackie for me please.

Deirdre

Will-do...pleased you like the CD!

The 3rd one is written (and we have a title for it), though as ever, tracks will change between now and when we start recording...Andy is very prolific.

...we're trying to release one CD per year.

After the third one will come the dreaded concept album....yes, really...!!!

Graeme,
Brother Crow.

Just to let everyone know what an excellent night this was. Everyone was in fine form. The evening started with Phil Graham. After that there were some fine tunes from Mad Molly Morran. Then up came Brother Crow with an excellent selection from their first and second CD's. They even got the audience to join in with them.

The second half was started by a couple more songs from Phil, followed by Fred and then Brian gave us some lovely songs one of which was in Gaelic.

Then back up under their dazzling new lights were Brother Crow. A few of the songs brought tears from the audience, they must remember to bring a box of hankies next time. They finished with the trad track The Joker.

All in all an excellent night was had by all. £96 was raised for Woodland Trust. A big thank you to all who came especially to Acoustica who made the trip from Newcastle.

Ruth

Glad it went well (well, it was bound to, really) and sorry we couldn't be there. See you at Roots North. BTW, Jools is using the CD as a mandolin tutor!

All the best
Pete and Jools
