session at The White Swan Drakeholes near Bawtry (thats North Nottinghamshire) on the LAST Thursday of the month starting at 8.00 pm.
This a restart of a session that was run there but had to stop when the pub closed, but Yippee the pub has re-opened, the new landlords are music friendly, and we are up and running again.

ALL WELCOME - msicians, singers, beginners, absolutely fantasmogorical, listeners, step dancers, English irish Welsh Scottish American European world traditions!! we just want a good time in pleasant company

Hi Backwoodsman do you mean the one at the Packet ?? if so then its always the second Thursday in the month which in October is the 9th

A session at the Packet? Sounds like paradise. I spent a long lunchtime there while passing through on the canal last year, waiting for a certain Catter who'd gone to the wrong pub. Especially at that price, it slipped down ever so easily and it's a good job there was little other traffic on the canal that afternoon.

actually it The packet in Grove Street Retford and its postcode will start DN22 although I dont know the rest. Our session there has been going for nearly two years now, and goes from strenght to strenght.
