The Brain Preston duo did a support for S&B on Thursday and found them to be very friendly and approachable. Jon B passed on some handy tips to Brian's fiddler Dave. Nuff said.

I've known them since before they hit the big time, and have to agree wholeheartedly.

As for 'Brain' Preston (aka Dewhurst), it's the first time he's ever been accused of having a brain... hee hee, sorry, Brian!! ;o)

I thought their 'footnote' was too loud at Bromyard.
And they went and lent the **** thing to someone else in the same concert!
But I'm probably in the minority, they wouldn't do it if people didn't like it (I assume). And it didn't stop me enjoying their set, though they didn't stand out from the crowd the way they did when we first heard them (was it about 5 years ago at Bromyard?)

Just saw them on the start of their tour, in Derby and I just thought they were magnificent. A real credit to folk music, great songs and tunes really well put together and they have such style in their arrangements.
