Hi all just to let you all know that the 3rd Harwich Shanty Festival starts Fri 10th Oct 2008. Following the success of the last two festivals it will be a cracking week-end. This year guests include Johnny Collins, Graham Knights,Dutch Courage,Shanty Crew Buitenboord,Capstan Full Strength plus lots of others. Check web site for full details.

Sorry just to add this is a free festival except for the evening concerts which have very reasonable admission fees. Lots of chances for a song or two at the sing a rounds. Mickp

A very enjoyable weekend with plenty of new and interesting venues. I even got to look around one of the last of the D-Day barges. The final massed sing at the end of the festival was the best yet.
Well done Pam & John for organising it.
Here's to next year..
