I'll be hitting the road on Sunday for a week of gigs, hope to see a few of you there:

OCT 5 SUN - Birmingham Traditional Music Club, Wagon and Horses, Adderley Street, Birmingham, West Midlands B9 4ED - 01527 517 600 Tom Bliss

OCT 6 MON - Old House Acoustic Music Club, The Pilot, Upper Stone Street Maidstone, Kent ME15 6EU - 01622 672277 Tom Bliss (thanks to The Barden of England, no less, for putting me up)

OCT 7 TUE - Hoy at Anchor Folk Club, The Ship, New Road, Leigh on Sea, Essex SS9 2EA - 01702 297 982 - Tom Bliss

OCT 8 WED - Probably a floor spot or singaround at one of the Wednesday clubs in the area (couldn't find a paying gig)! - or maybe just visiting chums.

OCT 9 THU - Windmill Acoustic Club Church Lane, Ewshot Surrey GU10 5BJ - 01276 609954 Tom Bliss

OCT 10 FRI - Fo'c'sle Folk Club, The Richmond Inn, Portswood Road, Southampton, Hants S017 2FW - 0238 045 6337 Tom Bliss

OCT 11 SAT - Weekend of Words Festival, (headlining) The Pound, Pound Pill, Corsham Wilts SN13 9EU - 01249 701 628 Tales of Time and Tide (One-Man Multi-Instrumental Multimedia Story Song and Dance Show, only I'm fibbing about the dancing!) with Song-writing workshop on Sunday too.

OCT 12 SUN - Readifolk, Queens Arms, Great Knollys Street, Reading, Berks RG1 7HL - 0118 948 3145 Tom Bliss

And if all goes to plan I'll be rendezvousing with a man in a van and dark glasses somewhere along the way, to take 1000 copies of The Whisper off his hands, now questions asked.

More here, including MP3s of all trax

Luv Tom

Hi Tom,

Saw you in Otley and we (the wife and I)were impressed, particularly liked "The sin of Mary Prout". We also liked the one about a relative of yours, although I cannot remember the name of the song.
Obviously as there were four other artists in the session we only heard 3 songs from you.
We were sat next to you whilst you sang.
Are you coming back to Yorkshire any time, the Gigs you quote are a little far away? I hope all goes well for you,

Dennis
