Does anyone else have memories of these great little folk clubs? run by Sue, I can't remember her surname, she was a large girl full of personallity, as she said herself "there's a lot of it but it's all in the right places" The club was first at the Nag's Head, Clapham Common, Old Town, then moved to the Nag's Head, Wandsworth Road, Battersea. Some of the names I remember: Jugular Vein, George Greenaway, Johnny Wilson, Mike Deacon?, and even on one occasion Peggy Seeger not bad for 3 bob, free if you did a turn. I don't think Sue got rich out of it.
