Has anybody heard of Rose Cousins from the Maritimes/Canada? Last year she won the 2008 East Coast Music Award for Best Female Recording of the Year. She writes great songs and has a wonderful sense of humour. We were lucky to be able to book her for a house concert at our place this November.

We had our house concert with Rose Cousins and Edie Carey last night and it was BRILLIANT! One guest described them as "flawless...perfect"!

(Mudcatter) JeffM accompanied Rose on 3 songs - a wonderful experiment gone right.

We have a very special audience with the ability to learn quickly and sing in full harmony at the drop of a hat - and last night they did just that on a couple of songs let by Rose. She was beautifully flabbergasted.

An amazing night. I'd recommend these 2 - Rose and Edie - to anybody who loves good songs, good voices, good personalities....

(Sorry, I forgot to ask if Rose is related to Dave. Is he from PEI too?)

She is originally from P.E.I.
She is now based in Nova Scotia.
