Bit of an unashamed plug for a great (but of course unknown) singer.

Allan is a guy who was one of the resident musicians at the Blarney Stone in Shanghai. Actually I have known him for about 5 years. Young Scottish guy about 22 with a great voice and great guitar technique.

This album was recorded in Shanghai and is a great compilation of a number of different genres. The backing musicians are all from Shanghai too and are amongst the folk that would turn up regularly for the Blarney Stone sessions.

Allan has told me Coda in Edinburgh are stocking the album, well worth a listen to.

His version of Vincent Black Lightning and Colorado Girl are just great.
