Well thanks for mentioning it Alan.
No problem and thanks for your reply.Nobody answered my last posting on this subject.
Well I cannot understand that.
Is it worth posting these things I wonder?
Well I watched it
I should watch in silence next time and let people find it themselves.
No keep trying eventually someone ,like me will answer.
Yes thanks again.
Al

Hmm.. how on earth do you know what's on if you don't speak Gaelic? Most foreign language sites offer an English translation.

Mrs.Annie, if you have the Radio Times you can check on the progs in English. Sky tv guide listings also include a very short synopsis in the info.
More goodies on from 10PM tonight too!

Mary-Anne Kennedy & Na Seoid in concert(from Celtic Connections earlier this year)
10.45 - 11.00PM -Transatlantic sessions
11.00 - 11.30 - Horo Geallaidh

...enjoy!

Stop making me jealous. Down here in Chester I can get the programs in the Beurla and yng Nghymraeg but nothing from north of the border (gather I missed a great Camanachd Cup).

Came across this by accident last night and watched an interesteng programme about Mingalay, all subtitled as I dont speak the lingo, wonderful old film footage, and recordings of the songs of the Island from the late 50's. Including tales of life on the island and why it was eventually abandoned in the early part of the century. A positively magical programme. Folkie Heaven.

Lest it be misunderstood, I have the merest smidgen of knowledge of the "Language of Eden"!...but I know what I like!
Lots of non Gaelic stuff in the last two progs anyway.
Wonderful, keep it up please.
Sky channel 168 for those who can!
