OH bum! I've done it again. It happened last time I had to change the batteries.

It just keeps saying 'learn'. Something which I obviously haven't done

I've been jabbing at the buttons like a kid with a play station - but can I get it to work? Not a sausage!

So no clever stuff about 'modes' and 'presets'. How do I make it work again?

its an intellituner - the name had rubbed off.

from the website incase anybody else has the same problem:-
Stuck in Learn mode.
It has come to our attention that, on some of the older models, after changing batteries the tuner may come up in Learn Mode. You can exit the learn mode by following the instructions below.
1. Place the tuner on your instrument and turn it on, the display will show Learn mode and the note letter will show "A."
2. Pluck any string and let it ring.
3. During the time when two arrows are displaying on each side of the note letter A, press Select button.
4. The black bar will automatically move to Preset.
5. Press the Mode button until the black bar is flashing behind 440.
6. Press the Select button to activate 440 mode.
