Tim, thanks for your glowing endorsement of my frying pan! Have I told you about the table tennis game at the Wanlockhead folk weekend? ....We used banjos as bats....the other guy had an unfair advantage though as his had a resonator. I kept catching rather than hitting the ball in my open back. I suppose really it is no way to treat expensive musical instruments but it was VERY early in the morning....

Meanwhile, Becks is definitely bringing her fiddle to The Cutty Wren. Her and Wendy together do make a beautiful sound.

Wendy is playing at The Cutty Wren FC, Skelton in Cleveland, Saltburn by the Sea TS12 2ES, on Thursday.

Really looking forward to this one.... bad news is that as it is fairly local I'm going to (so a little bit bit of banjo backing). Good news is that That Rebekah Findlay (Blind Summat's Fiddler) maybe coming as well, which means some lovely fiddle backing!!

Hopefully see some of you there.
