Subject: RE: New folk club? From: matt milton Date: 27 Oct 08 - 06:44 AM I'm planning on going along, as the Ritzy is just round the corner from me (and does very good crepes). Girlfriend bought me a 5-string open-back banjo for my last birthday, and I've been playing very basic versions of songs from Pete Seeger's How to Play the Banjo book. Reckon I'll give "pretty polly" a go. or maybe "darlin corey" or "in the pines". not sure. |
