Great job guys, lovely tune and great playing, the train whistle makes for the perfect bookends. As Jayto says, the "feel" of the song is what makes it. I've always been a sucker for train songs.

I have been buried by both the pesky day job as well as hot musical pursuits. Now I come back, tired and weary, and am lifted up by the perfect song. Way to go, my friend. Very nice playing as well, Ron.

OMG man I live it. I am jamming to it right now. That just has a vibe and feel that is SWEET!!! It has that feel god vibe that I love. I can;t really put it into words but when I hear it I know it. It is strong and real. Bankley yep could not have picked a better one to work with on it. He is amazing I swear every song, lyric, and conversation I am left in awe with Bankley man. I love this song. I am going to be wearing this one out. Do more I want more !

well, I don't think genius had much to do with it.... I had a bit of time to spare on a wet morning, and just wanted to encourage O.D. in his writing and playing... a couple of takes and that was it...nothing fancy... would have liked to have had the voice more out front, but had no control on the track sent me..... but it's a cool unpolished souvenir.... the freight train was passing by in the distance as I was finishing up, so I opened the door and recorded the horn..... now how about a song for fire engines, O.D. ? or garbage trucks ?...
"That trashy gal sure burnt me good
Now, I'm the talk of the neighbourhood " ....

Ron took the song I wrote called southbound train and added a steel guitar and mandolin and some effects... because of the genius of Ron he made it a real song for me. Please give a listen, I would love to hear what you think now

Dan
