From: GUEST,Pat Cooksey,

Returned today to Germany where I live after two fantastic weeks in America, I played eight concerts in Texas ans Lousiana, nearly all sold out, the route was Houston, Bryan, College Station, San Antonio, Lafayette for two nights, and Austin. My precocieved notions of America were nothing compared to the hospitality and frienhip I found.
I wa given the great honour of a tour of the White House in

Washington, plus a photo in the Oval office, not bad for a simple
Irish singer.
Thank you America.
For those of you in the UK my mails were jammed with congratulatios as my song The Sick Note was performed on Coronation Street, for you in America, the most popular series in England, I am astonished and proud.

Your Sick Note is one of my favorites! Congrats on it being on Coronation Street. Sounds as if your American tour was a great success, too. I'll have to ask my friend in Austin if he was out to see you. Next time come to Colorado?!

ATB,

kat

Oh how we miss you here in Ireland. Particularly in places like Dunmore East.

We have a new singing circle going in Bray Pat. 3rd Saturday in every month. Love to see you again.

And Scanlan is still singing Streets of Ennis Town.

We were there.

Best regards
George and Joyce

I can only second what George said, Pat you are sadly missed in Clare, but we are also so happy that you have gone from the steets of Ennis to do so well. You will always be a part of us here and we will never forget the great nights we had together, if you have the chance to come back for a visit our house is at your disposal.

Declan, Tom, and the family.

Hi Pat,

Now that I have been forced out of action with 2 broken wrists after a stupid accident, I finally have found time to browse the web and catch up on the mudcat world.

Great stuff! Delighted to hear you made it over to the states and by the sound of it you were a great success.

Congratulations and keep it up.

John Barden

Can you tell me George if all is well with Paeder, I sent him a postcard from New Orleans. My photo from the oval office was in the paper here in Bavaria today. Love to you all. Hope to be in Ireland next year.

Love you all,

Pat.
