This from all of us at Nellies Tonbridge Folk Club

Owing to imminent loss of our current venue we have regretfully been forced to abandon all further gatherings for this year. Will Duke and Dan Quinn have been rescheduled for June next year. From mid-January 2009 we will be returning to the Rose and Crown, Tonbridge High Street , only a short walk down the hill from our more recent venue. The club will go on - see you there!

As far as we know the Ivy House should still be open this coming Monday so the scheduled sing-around is still on, but please check the website before travelling. This will probably be our last time in the Ivy House for the foreseeable future. Alternative venue arrangements for the new year are in hand, but all events scheduled for the rest of this year are currently subject to confirmation.

just a quick warning- as you may have heard on the local news, the IVY House's landlord is on hunger strike and the pub faces an uncertain future. We may have to relocate at short notice- we will keep everyone informed as best we can- please check the website
