Subject: Bonny at Morn folk duo From: The Greyt Hound Date: 30 Oct 08 - 07:45 AM Just wanted to let people the know about this new female folk duo from Weardale and where you can see them. Bonny at Morn are two friends from Weardale who perform traditional, contempary and original material in their own way. They have a few dates throughout the North East in November. 1st November they are supporting Brother Crow at St Johns Chapel Town Hall. On 12th November they are performing at The Bridge Hotel, Newcastle. On 14th November they are performing at the Weardale Young Achievers Event where both girls have individual nominations also. Finally they are playing a short spot at the famous Kirkby Fleetham Big Birthday Bash on the Sunday 23rd November. More info here |

Subject: RE: Bonny at Morn folk duo From: The Greyt Hound Date: 17 Nov 08 - 02:47 PM Sorry no, they would probably send themselves to sleep if they did. Here is their myspace site. The sound is quite basic as it is from a video camera. |
Subject: RE: Bonny at Morn folk duo From: Spot Date: 17 Nov 08 - 03:01 PM Hallo everybody... I think they'd do themselves a lot of favours if they put a far better set of recordings on MySpace... methinks this poor sound quality's an instant turn off... I don't doubt for a moment that live they're totally different..... To be honest, I couldn't be bothered to listen to it all.....!! Come on , lasses...do yourselves justice!! Just a thought.... :-) Good luck...girls Regards to all...Spot :-) |
