Just saw the video version of the Gurney Norman short story "Fat Monroe." A fine adaptation by Appalshop of a wonderful Appalachian coming of age story. But I didn't catch the identity of the banjo player who did the spectacular sound track. Does anyone know who it was, and what was the name of the tune at the beginning and conclusion of the short?
