Thursday 6th November at Ashington Folk Club (Nr Newcastle!), The Miners Institute, Institute Road, Ashington, Northumberland NE63 8HP.

Michael Rossiter, Serious Sam Barrett and David Broad on their nationwide tour from Leeds!

Expect some superb banjo, mandolin and guitar playing over traditional songs from both the UK and USA. Michael Rossiter and David Broad both performed together as Woody Guthrie in a tour of the UK described as "brilliant" by Ralph McTell for Radio 4. They have also supported the likes of Eliza Carthy, Sara Grey, Martin Carthy, Jez Lowe and Nina Nastasia between them. Serious Sam Barrett plays his brand of Yorkshirecana from dale to shore and has "instantly hooked" reviewers over the country.

"Think Woody Guthrie and more recent folks like Micah Blue Smaldone and you've got a good idea of what's on offer here" - Norman Records
