Seeing the other thread for Stan Gee made me start thinking of the other Stan Gee from the Redcar area.

Stan was a good collector of quality acoustic instruments and a fine craftsman making custom made guitar straps.

Anyone know his wherabouts now, the last I heard he was still in that same area.

Saw him 3 weeks ago when we played at The Cutty Wren FC (his banjo playing was up to its usual excellent standard during his floorspot) and the lovely Eve (his partner) only 10 days ago when we played in Redcar.

They both seem very well and they definitely still live in the same area!

Cheers

Paul
