Several commies, innumerable wiccans, a practising priest, a number of tory buggers, catholics,
protestants and other ne'er do wells, old crones, young louts -
AND Mark Lawson, who will remain anonymous.

Not to drag politics in Cllr, but there are 9 shop stewards or ex-shop-stewards on the side!

I remember years back (around '91) being a honorary member of Dead Horse Morris (as a drummer) for the Day at a festival and getting free drinks with them. What a great memory or at least it would be if i could remember it.

Well it was at the end of a very long days drinking at a certain hop festival, but as I remember(?) it, the singing was not half bad.
And it was certainly enthusiastic!!

It might be no good flogging one but by God, if you give one a pint of bitter you'll get as good a song as ever came out of a horse's mouth.

Been there, done it, listened to it, and even joined in!

Try dragging it round the pubs singing in Welsh, on New Years Eve, then you know the meaning of "Flogging..." etc.
But it does get the money in!!

no use at all, i tried to flog one and the best price i was offered was 2/6p i even tried to smuggle one in with the scrap but the whole load got slung out, expired equines cant even pull me waggon but make good rugs, and i believe the french see dead horse as a delicacy.

Dozing off the Sunday dinner in front of the Antiques Roadshow and spy a chap with a handsome t-shirt emblazoned with the legend Dead Horse Morris and a fine garlanded horse skull / hobby horse...

Fine set of cigarette cards, but who are the Dead Horse Morris and where might we see them dance?
