I would really love to see The Bardettes in action.
I am picturing Brian wearing a nice fetching leather skirt while Marion has torn jeans and irradiated tambourine.......

What a fabulous evenings entertainment. Enjoyed every moment of it, so a great big thank you Bob - and to R & R, and of course Karen & Dal.
Looks like Jay Bee and the Bardettes is going to stick - sounds OK to me.

Thanks Bob and Steve for a bloody good night. The next concert night at the GI, will be the second Tuesday in February. We have a main act lined up, but we havn't asked them yet. However, the support act will be Steve May, one of the best guitarists at the club. Bob will be back later on in 2009

and ta from us for coming along! we had a great time, who wouldn't with R & R to start off? The food was good, too- thanks Dal & Karen- and a very welcoming atmosphere- even the heckling was polite (ish)... nice to see Dabbing Jen from the Wrotham- long way to come but she did as promised bring a little fan... andd the chorus singing from Mr B & the Bardettes (oops No Worries) rivalled the Pacemakers... roll on the next!

Yeh, I also had the bloody sniffles (ruined my delicate voice, so it did!).

Anyway, it was a cracking evening. Bob and Steve (his fiddle player) were in top form. Thanks to all who came.

Sorry all. Had a terminal dose of the dreaded sniffles.
Even heckling would have proved a bit much :-)
Hope it all went well. (But not too well so I get jealous)

We are hoping to start concert nights at the 'Good Intent; Rochester, on the second Tuesday of the Month. The first effort will beon the 9th December, with Bob Kenwood, supported by ' Ruff and Reddy '.
There will be some grub, mid evening and a hat passed round. Hopefully we can make this a regular event, giving the chance for those who support us regularly, to show their talents, supporting local names
