Subject: Lyr Req: Boys of the County Mayo From: GUEST,Big Tim Date: 10 Nov 08 - 10:39 AM The only verse I can remember is: So boys cling together in all kinds of weather, Never show the white feather wherever you go, Be like a brother and help one another, Like true-hearted sons of the County Mayo. |
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Boys of the County Mayo From: GUEST,Shaneo not logged in Date: 10 Nov 08 - 12:10 PM Far away from the land of the shamrock and heather in search of our living as exiles we roam and whenever we chance to assemble togeter I think of the place where I once had a home The days of my childhood it's now I regret them we carry their vision wherever we go the friends of my youth I will never forget them they too are exiles from the County Mayo CHORUS sorry about the spellings! Ballinrobe to Killala from Swinford to Balla Newport and Cong and down Castlebar Ballyhaunis, Belmullet, Tourmakeady, God love it from the whole land whose great men are known near and far So boys cling together in all kinds of weather show the white feather wherever you go be like a brother and help one another like the true hearted men from the County Mayo |
