I'm trying to find the name of a song. The lyrics go something like this:

"I'm going home, and home I will stay.
Oh, never again will I go wandering far away."

The person that sang it for me said it could be "roaming"
instead of "wandering".

Any help would be appreciated.

I found
this reference    but not any additional words or a source:

"Another song went like this 'I'm going home, and home I will stay. Never oh never again will I go wandering far away.'"

I wonder if you could contact the author of the story?

Thanks, Maeve. I had found the same reference but, like you, nothing more. I have no idea how to contact the author right now. In fact, I find their site very hard to read.
I've only been searching for a couple of days. So, I'll give it a while and if nothing comes of it, I'll see if I can contact the author of that post.
