I used Garage Band. very easy to use and reasonable quality, though I could have done with a comdeser mic.

Or even a condenser mic. Would welcome views on quality etc. Listening to it back myself, I have some ideas about strengths and weaknesses but would welcome an outsider's point of view to see how it matches mine. The mistakes I know about stand out like a sore thumb to me.
