Hi all,

Oxjam is a volunteer led project to raise money for Oxfam and help fight poverty through musical fun! We hope for most events to be focused in March but would like as many events as possible to happen from now until then.

With help from the Central England Support team and a toolkit downloadable from the website we are hoping to find people who would like to organise an Oxjam music event.

An event you are already organising can easily be added to Oxjam by uploading your event on to our line-up and downloading bits and bobs to Oxjamify from our website. (The central team are here to help anyone who needs help with the up and down loading and website fun).

Upload an event now at by registering. Or create and account to recieve updates.

With many xmas and new years parties coming up its an ideal time to get involved! The sooner you sign up the quicker we can start advertising it and getting the local press involved.

Contact us at or call 07843259136.

I urge all 'folkies' to support Oxjam, as many have previously. It's a great Charity and it puts folk in the same kind of place as other live music. This often draws people to folk events because they have see them on the Oxjam site

We had a lot of fun last time - who else did?

This is a great idea.

However, (in my limited experience) some events (whatever the size or type) already fundraise for local charities.
