Upton upon Severn is certainly intimate and friendly, and stewarding is available.

Chippenham is not small but friendly it definitely is, locals say to me "'ere, you are brightly dressed" which compares with the old Redditch (more ditch than red) where locals used to shout across the street "WHY ARE YOU ******** DRESSED LIKE THAT" and I cleaned that up. Chippenham town welcome us, and we are greatful. Great for dancers.

If you book early the Pennymoor Singaround is intimate, though I havn't been for a few years. It often sells-out by June. Good for singers.

Crediton is small and friendly. Singers and musicians.
