Subject: Tech: Noteworthy on Myspace From: Les in Chorlton Date: 28 Nov 08 - 12:08 PM Sorry if I keep asking the same questions, its my age. Is it possible to put Noteworthy or even Microsoft Word files on Myspace so that others can download them? Les |
Subject: RE: Tech: Noteworthy on Myspace From: TheSnail Date: 28 Nov 08 - 12:27 PM No idea but do you realise that you can export to MIDI from Noteworthy? You can then generate mp3s from MIDI; put "MIDI mp3" into Google. |

Subject: RE: Tech: Noteworthy on Myspace From: JedMarum Date: 03 Dec 08 - 08:51 AM No. Myspace is very restrictive about what can be posted on their site. Hackers, Spammers and malicious virus spreaders would hide all kinds of nasty bits of code inside the harmless looking Noteworthy or Word files. So you cannot place any files on Myspace, except images, video and music. If you can create an MP3 file from Noteworthy - then you can probably upload that file as a music file to your "band" profile jukebox. The text from Word files can be stored as a text file at various places on Myspace - for example, you can create a BLOG entry or song lyrics in Word, then copy and paste that text into Myspace - but of course, it will no longer be a WORD file. |
