His collection of field tapes went to the British Library Sound Archive who are working with Topic Records to release some of the recordings. The books and record collection went to Halsway Manor. The family retained the banjo.

I 'handled' the banjo once - Dave Warner had it at Maidenhead a couple of years back - He didnt want to trust HIS to Baggage handlers , so borrowed Peter's when he was over.
