Subject: Adam Hurt at Roger and Patsy's
From: folkwaller

I have just had the privilege of attending a two day master class by Adam Hurt at Roger and Patsy Youngs house in Flitcham. What a fantastic banjo player and teacher, do they come any better. He demonstrated the Round Peak style of playing, explained the history, played recordings of past masters and taught us mere mortals tunes note for note. Not once was anything to much bother and neither did he show any sign of impatience for those that did not get to grips with anything first time, or second, or third. If you are interested in banjo playing especially the Round Peak style do not miss seeing Adam before he goes back to the states. Many thanks Adam, Roger and Patsy.

This is of course in England.

I think the details are in another thread but I don't have time to look for it.
