Oddly enough I always assumed that 'Punch the Horse' was based on the real life event witnessed by a friend when an irate female Hull City supporter fed up of being pushed back by Police horses actually punched one on the nose!

Is it ever dull in Hull?

No it aint Irene M.

We are a four piece band from the fair City of Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire, England UK.that plays music and song in the Irish style.

Many famouse Mudcatters have played with us in the past including Deanmeister, Oakley, Nik Nak, Skipjack and the windswept and intresting Mr.les Fromull.

We seem to be quite popular and despite a few band changes, have been running for nearly thirteen years. Also we have done several very successful recordings.
Contrary to popular belief we do not punch horses.The band is named after a mllkmans horse that resided very near to us.If you are around sometime come and say hello we are quite house trained and approachable.
