She was in great form at Sharps last night where we heard an Excellent set by Johnny Collins and some of the "usual suspects" all in all a sparkling evening.

We tried dinner at JP Thornton's replacement - Three Brothers, I think. Great food. Owner is like a kid with a new toy. Can't wait to see him and Micca together. Yes - they serve breakfast and can learn Bacon Butties.

I had a wonderful time last night and met another Mudcatter into the bargain.

Lots of lovely music - I really liked Martin's stuff and JohnDun and Chris provided some good fresh turns to add to the proceedings. It was nice to catch up with old friends in a very crowded room that occasionally erupted into song as everyone joined in with the familiar Christmas numbers.

It was quite a late night but definitely worth it!

See you in August, I hope.

Ice storm last week. Snow storms tonight and again on Sunday.

My one consolation is that they are predicting snow on the 28th. Wear your boots when you come back, Mrs. Morse.

I have no to play with and it is making me bitchy. Jeri's gone home; Tami's working; Kendall has Seamus; the cats are pissy because they can't go outside...SIGH.

Question: does "familiar Christmas numbers" mean The Twelve Days of Christmas?
