Subject: RE: NZ radio Chrissy shows streaming live From: Little Robyn Date: 24 Dec 08 - 07:59 AM The programmes have been playing, but not at the times we were told. So to keep us happy they've started playing our shows again. Here's Mitch's latest bulletin. The elves have been sorting out more programming clashes at Kidnappers and dished up some more airtime, so here's a list of times you can expect to hear our Christmas specials, but I don't know which. That's the elves' surprise for you. Date NZ time Britain Eastern US Western US Wed 24 1pm Wed m'night Tue 7pm Tue 4pm Wed 24 7pm Wed 6am Wed 1am Tue 10pm Thu 25 10am Wed 9pm Wed 4pm Wed 1pm Thu 25 2pm Thu 1am Wed 8pm Wed 5pm Thu 25 7pm Thu 6am Thu 1am Wed 10pm Again, apologies for this rescheduling. All the best for Christmas! -- Mitch and Robyn Park (Folk on Sunday, Radio Kidnappers 1431AM) |
Subject: NZ radio Chrissy shows streaming live From: Little Robyn Date: 20 Dec 08 - 04:45 PM Mitch has been asked to prepare a series of Folk on Sunday Christmas programmes to go on the radio computer at Kidnappers Community Radio Station, here in Hawke's Bay. They will be available on-line as well as just in our little part of the world, for the next few days. The time differences are a bit awkward for people in Britain but listeners in the US, Canada or Aus should have no bother. The first programme was on yesterday but there are 5 more yet, including or usual Folk on Sunday programme this afternoon. We have been doing this for more than 12 years but this is the first year our show has been on-line. Unfortunately, the programmes are not available afterwards - if you want to hear us, you have to tune in at the specified times. The web site is here: Kidnappers internet audio or here: http://www.radiokidnappers.org.nz/internet_audio.php Here's Mitch's list of times and the playlists for the chrissy specials: Thanks to automation at Kidnappers, we're pleased to announce you'll be able to hear one of the following prerecorded programmes on one of the following days. We don't know which, yet, but my guess is they'll go in numerical order, so here's what's coming: 1. Sat 20 11am "Christmas dinner" 639. Sun 21 3pm Folk on Sunday no. 639 (Music for Christmas - not pre-recorded. We'll be live in the studio.) 2. Mon 22 1pm "Music of the Nativity" 3. Tue 23 12noon "Carols in a cappella harmony" 4. Wed 24 1pm "A merry Christmas" 5. Thu 25 2pm "Instrumental Christmas" The times above are New Zealand summer time. British and Eastern & Western US times should be: Britain Eastern US Western US 1 Fri 10pm Fri 5pm Fri 2pm 639 Sun 2am Sat 9pm Sat 6pm 2 Mon 12am Sun 7pm Sun 4pm 3 Mon 11pm Mon 6pm Mon 3pm 4 Wed 12am Tue 7pm Tue 4pm 5 Thu 1am Wed 8pm Wed 5pm I'm including undated playlists for the five Specials so you'll know what's coming. -- Playlist.
