Davie Grant, moothie player from north-east Scotland, died on the 23rd. His funeral will be at Parkgrove Crematorium, Friockheim, on Wednesday 31st December at 1.30pm.

I knew Davie mainly through his visits to Sandy Bells in Edinburgh, where he's play with his brother Iain Grant. You would often find Davie at folk festivals in the east of Scotland.

He'd had Parkinson's disease for some time but this was unexpected, he was otherwise in good shape.

An obit has been sent to the (UK) National Harmonica League. I'm not sure if it'll appear on their website or in the magazine.
