Beverley is June and is a good festival.

Middlewich
is the weekend of June 19th.
Usually has one concert tent with big name acts. You can buy separate tickets, or get a slight discount on a season ticket.
Most of the fringe events are free.
It also has a lot of narrow-boats.

Also on the weekend of 19th lichfield, but that is a dance festival. And only for dancers with a lot of stamina as there is nothing else if your legs or brain need a rest.

If you're looking for a festival running 12-14 June, there's always Wimborne folk festival .

In addition to the festivals mentioned above, the weekend of 19-21 June is also Alcester folk festival .

As well as Wimborne, there's the Wessex Folk festival at Weymouth which takes place the weekend before (5th-7th). You could do both festivals if you're in the area for a week, with visits to folk clubs on the four days between!

There's also a new day festival - Wessex Alfresco - running on the 20th June in Pimperne. It's run by some of the same team that put on Swanage Folk Festival and as you can see has some excellent artists (and Isambarde.)

Gower Folk Festival is on 13th, 14th & 15th June 2008 at the Gower Heritage Centre, Parkmill, Gower.

Small friendly festival on a beautiful site close to gorgeous coastal scenery.
