Lisa you got there before me. However I'll still add my bit. I've got John's book of songs and it also contains a CD which has the first verse and chorus of all the songs so that people can hear how the tunes go. Well worth investing in.

Pete Luscombe and John Bartlett are 2 members of Ramskyte who now sing as a duo called WholeHearted. Their harmonies are heavenly and they sing lots of John & Pete's songs, as well as trad stuff - mainly with great choruses..... To be in a shanty sing with them is pure heaven.
John has produced a book of his songs, some celebrating his beloved Hampshire, called Patterns in the Sand...the great news is that they will be at Broadstairs F.F. all week as usual, dancing with Victory Morris and singing their hearts out as WholeHearted and as part of Hartley Singers.
They have a mySpace.....
