Hi all you Pete Morton fans, Pete is making a welcome return to the Bothy Folk Club Southport this Sunday 11th Jan. Also in the next few weeks we have Damien Barber & Mike Wilson 25th Jan, Anthony John Clarke 4th Feb, Lynne Heraud & Pat Turner 15th Feb. & the Guest list now goes up to 2010!

Yeah that Southport. Sorry keep forgetting NW USA. I always think of the terminology as the 'Pacific Northwest'. Don't know why. In fact don't even know if it's the same place.

I saw Pete Morton at the Alison Arms Free Folk Festival last June. His style is quite unusual and some of his songs are either very touching or very funny. Quite a good mix/balance. He is also very friendly and helpful. Should be worth the visit to Southport (England) to anyone who can get to the Bothy.
