I believe it was writian by Bernard Bowland from Ormskirke. It was writen quite a while ago. Remember Eric Bogle singing it about 25+ years ago. Quite liked the sentiment of the song. the fragment of the lyrics that I remember were:- You drinking men at the old number 10 it seems a long time ago I know it's a long shot but can anybody help please |
