Edwina was great and brought a good crowd in - we hope to have her back in the Autumn. Special thanks to Gerry Cooper for providing the PA and excellent support (and Gerry Mc for suggesting that I contact Gerry C.)- looking forward to Gerry C's full gig in a fortnight. Next week I'm really excited about seeing Brother Crow for first time.

Thanks to everyone, audience & performers, who have come to the Raggalds so far and have made it a thriving venue in a very short time - if you haven't been yet and live locally please give us a try.

This week we are delighted to have Edwina Hayes appearing at the Raggalds with a short support spot from Gerry Cooper who will be our guest in a few weeks time.

We're also really looking forward to seeing a far too rare West Yorkhire gig by Brother Crow

Thanks to anyone reading this who made the effort to come out last Friday in freezing temparatures to see Gerry McNeice - another superb night!

Katriona & Jamie were superb - loved their version of my favourite ever folk tune - Blowzabella's Horizonto.

This week we have Jon Harvison paying us a visit so another treat in store.

I've just been putting together the programme for late February and March and though I say so myself its looking pretty exciting.

Mind you the next few weeks are going to be great too with Gerry McNeice & Friends on 6th Feb and then Edwina Hayes on 13th Feb.

We had a great night with Duncan, Gerry & Anne. I had a chat with most of the peope who were there and they all really enjoyed it too.

This week at Raggalds Acoustic we have Katriona Gilmore & Jamie Roberts - I'm really looking forward to this as I have heard their music on MySpace and I've seen Jamie with Kerfuffle but not seen them together. Should be pretty stunning I reckon

Starts 8.30 prompt - get down early for the best seats - see site for more details. Good beer (Taylors Lanlord & one other real ale) too!

Beat me to it, D! Just finished putting the Raggalds details on DigYorkshire listings site and working on the Queensbury festival listing now.

Anyone reading this within striking distance of Queensbury please come down - we had a great night last Friday with Roger Davies and I'm sure Duncan & Gerry will be equally enjoyable. Nice atmosphere, decent beer and free - what more could you ask (except for a little lower altitude perhaps!)
