Hi Carol,

Richmond has the River (open season for Trout! but not course fish) and a lake!

I don't know the one's at Bedale (despite living 5 miles away!). It's just under an hour from Bedale to Hardraw.

If you do stay at Bedale during the week don't forget that Burneston Folk Club is nearby for the Wednesday night and Bedale Folk Club also runs on the 2nd Tuesday of the month (I think, I just go by Wendy's diary and she's out!). Both are singarounds so your sort of thing I reckon.

Joe, sorry you can't make it, happy birthday though old thing (I'm not that far behind).

Cheers

Paul

Hi Paul
They're not exactly near are they? However I've found a couple of small sites in Bedale with fishing lakes, as it's the closed season in rivers at the moment. Hope you've been enjoying the campervan and not had any births!!

Looking forward to it, coming over from Clenall Hall the weekend before and hopefully finding a site with a fishing lake for the weekdays in between.

That'll teach me just to copy and paste MCFC's (that's MC Follically Challenged..... you can probably work out who it is!) blurb won't it!

It's a good weekend, you should come.

This is a very relaxed weekend with lots of great local singers. Plus what promises to be a smashing concert with some powerfull local groups.
Come for the day or come for the weekend, you are guaranteed a great time and you will be supporting a good cause, North Yorkshire Cancer Research. Every penny raised from raffles, collections and the concert will be going to the charity.
Concert tickets available in advance from Norman at the number above.

"15th to 17th May 2009 is the date for the Great Weekend Singaround held at the Green Dragon Inn at Hardraw in North Yorkshire. This is the 3rd year that this relaxed weekend of music has been held to raise funds for North Yorkshire Cancer Research. The weekend starts on Friday afternoon with a singaround in the bar which continues until the early hours of the morning. We start again Saturday lunch time. Saturday evening we have a terrific concert in the concert room which starts at 7:30 pm with music from Richard & Debbie Roe, Blind Summat!, Fryish and The YoungUns. Tickets for the concert are £5 each."

Should be fun.
