I realize it's hard to get to, but Dave Mallett is performing at the High school in Sitka AK on March 11th.

He will also be on the west coast, so check his web site. He's also on You tube.

Alaska Mike is in Anchorage, a longish way from Sitka.

Juneau is only about 18 minutes from there by air. (It can be 11 hours by ferry because they have to wait for slack tide to go through the Narrows but it's a lot more fun by ferry, is you have the time.)

March 11th. Hmmmmmm.

Mallet's The garden Song (Inch By Inch) was voted the Best Folk Song Of All Time a while back. His comment? It made him right proud to be up there with Barbara Allan. LOL

That's cool. I never associated him with that kind of guitar playing. I love his writing, but all the recordings of him that I own are just him accompanying himself in song.
