Date: 24 Jan 09 - 10:21 AM Does anyone have information about a KOCH CHROMATIC harmonica? made in germany Mint in box 10 holes key of C there is a label in side the box showing award medals wien1837 strugart1881 chichago1893 london 1891 also a drawing of an animal and the words Fabrik-marke the back of the box has the following 980/40 M 1-073.111-40 stock pcs Harmonica KOCH Made in Germany I suspect it is pre WW-2 Anyone have an idea as to it's age and value? |

He seemed to have a sane idea of what his stuff was worth - I passed on the harmonica but bought a Boosey and Hawkes Emperor flute off him for a price which turned out to be slightly on the low side of the going rate. |
