Yes, we are doing it again as last year was so successful! Although we can't guarantee snow!

Similar format to last year the event will be all at Drayton Leisure Golf Centre on 3rd - 5th April and will feature song, music sessions, surprise guests, workshops, a sweepstake on the National and other fun things. We are hoping to do the catering ourselves to make it more affordable.

The weekend will cost £15, to include camping for caravans and campervans and is to raise funds for Banbury Folk Festival in October.(9th - 11th October - our 10th one!)

There is a downloadable flier on the Festival Website
www.banburyfolkfestival.co.uk

Hope to see you there!

Merek'n'Dary

Currently we are not able to offer indoor camping, but if we can think of a solution, we will let you know. Late night soup will be provided to send tenters to bed warm, if that's any consolation!

Hello you catters!
Well we have now finalised our programme and its shaping up to be a great weekend with singarounds/music sessions, surprise guests and some special events such as our Grand National Sweepstake.... weather seems to be getting more springlike too, although some perverse people are still requesting snow! Food will be available for non self-caterers but we are managing this ourselves this year so it will be reasonably priced.

As I am hopeless at putting links in check out the website www.banburyfolkfestival.co.uk for details!
Tickets still available for a great weekend!

Merek'n'Dary

And make sure you bring your dancing shoes - and your tatter jacket if you've got one. If not - I've got lots of jackets to lend out and plenty of sticks so there's no excuse for not joining in with some border morris.

Am hoping that Rusty the kitten who wasn't there, won't be there again! Looking forward to the weekend though we might need to leave early on the Sunday. Life is fairly hectic at the moment so Banbury will be a chance for us to relax for a few minutes *grin*

Bubblyrat, you will have to check that out with Nick and Lesley when you get there! Merek and I will be packing up after 5.00 though as I have to be at work the next day ..... at least I will, can't vouch for Merek though. He might get tempted to stay as he's retired!!! Thank goodness I will be joining him in this blissful state after next year!

Still want your help re cooking, but not on scale of Miskin.

Sorry, you can't join us Moses.

Snow might not be possible! Long range weather forecast looks good. If some of you want to chance it at the last minute we should still have a few tickets!

Dary

Quite a few " 'Catters" were on parade :-

Me ( Playing for Herbaceous Border )--Sue The Borderer--Herga Kitty (and Derek,of course)--Wild Flying Dove--My Guru Always Said ( and Richard, naturally)--Unicorn Man--North/South Annie--Vectis--Merek & Dary ( Stars of the Show !)---

I guess that there were others too,but you'll have to identify yourselves !!
Karen's photos are pretty good (look for the Tony Robinson and Henry the Eighth impersonators !!).
