Suggestion motivated by noticing something missing on a local folk site presented for our evaluation.

I've sometimes decided a holiday itinerary by what local folk events there are in the areas I'm going to. Next step is to find accommodation in the same town. This usually means going through Google, several phone calls and a fair bit of guesswork about what the B&B might really be like.

Since the folk club is an essential first step in me making the B&B booking, wouldn't it make sense for it to be more explicitly involved, to people's mutual financial advantage? Click-through ads on the club site for accommodation recommended by the organizers? Discounts at the B&B for mentioning you found them thanks to the club?
