Don't know the fella but received this e-mail to day, anyone know him or help out

Hello

This is a bit of an unusual request. My Husband Howard was killed in a car crash on Tuesday. He was a live music lover and we regularly attended folk festivals and concerts around the country. He was never happier than sitting with a pint of real ale in a pub somewhere with a folk session happening in the background and soaking in the atmosphere. I am trying to organise his funeral and 'party' afterwards and would love to have some live music - a folk session or similar would seem to be a ideal as it would be upbeat and create an excellent atmosphere but not be too loud and intrusive.

The funeral is next Friday afternoon and the party would be from 4.30pm until 6pm approx. I have contacted Harrogate folk club and most of their members are committed to a dance event that evening - they are still trying but don't hold out much hope. I know it is is very short notice but I wondered if you could help or could offer me any ideas of who else I might contact - we would be happy to pay people for their time and/or expenses.

Any advice would be really appreciated as I am not sure who else to ask

pm me for e-mail address if you can help out

cheers
Pete ( me and Ron have day jobs so can't do it)
