The long running session at the Marina Inn is coming to an end due to the pub being redeveloped. The last session will be tonight,3rd February.
As from Tuesday the 10th the session will move to the nearby Harbour Lights, starting at (around) 8.30.
All singers and musicians welcome.

From all those who have played at the sessions over the last 13 years our thanks to owner Andy Tremble and former owner Jim Dunlop.

Does that mean that there will be no more open air sessions out the back during the Marymass Festival?? Pity I've acquired some blistering sun tans sat out there listening to some very good songs and tunes.

The Tuesday session has moved to the Harbour Lights and it is expected to have a beer garden in place for Easter.
All singers and musicians are welcome.
There is every chance that the Harbour Lights will be used for the Maryass Festival Sessions. Check the Irvine Folk Club site for festival information.

That's a pity Goatfell.
I thought perhaps local Concertina players like Pete Heywood & Tom McDermott might be tempted to grace your session with their presence, from time to time!

Oh would that I could join you myself Goatfell, but I'm afraid it's a long trip in a Canoe, from the Glens of Antrim.

However, on my way home, to & from Edinburgh I sometimes pass that way, so you never know! :-)

Cheers
Dick

Believe it or not Pete Heywood (and wife Heather)appeared at the last session at the Marina. I can't recal Pete being at a previous session.
Ptarmigan you will be made welcome if you feel like dropping in.
