Subject: RE: Composer of the Year! From: Bonnie Shaljean Date: 09 Feb 09 - 04:13 AM Does Con Fada have a website? Couldn't find anything in Google. The Times article* is brilliant Martin, thanks for posting it. And please note everyone where Con lives: the great and glorious republic of CORK. As you say, no better man. Must keep an eye out for Solid Cider - that idea will probably start a craze now. (I have apple trees out back, hmmmmmm . . .) http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/features/2009/0205/1233713218745.html |
Subject: RE: Composer of the Year! From: MartinRyan Date: 09 Feb 09 - 03:01 AM Met the composer Con ( or should that be Con the poser) over the weekend. He regaled the company with a hilarious, new song based on the autumnal habits of Swedish deer which get drunk on fermenting windfall apples ("solid cider", as he called it). Must get a set of words... Regards |
