Subject: Lyr Req: Lovely Busmills From: Ptarmigan Date: 06 Feb 09 - 03:40 PM I'm looking for the lyrics of a North Antrim Song, which I believe is called either: 'Lovely Bushmills' or 'Dear Old Bushmills'. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Cheers Dick |

This Website (click) makes mention of two songs, "The Bushmills Song" and "Dear Old Bushmills," but does not provide lyrics for either. I had no luck in our Irish Songbook Index, either. -Joe- |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Lovely Bushmills From: Ptarmigan Date: 06 Feb 09 - 03:59 PM Ha Ha TJ. Of course this song is about the TOWN of Bushmills, not the Whiskey! Although the Whiskey is well worth singing about, too! Cheers Dick |
