Donald Grant - for those who have not heard of him is a fiddler who was first of all brought up a traditional fiddler and then became a classical fiddler.

He now works in both fields.

On Thursday next (February 12th) Donald will be launching his record "The Way Home" which is absolutely wonderful.

As well as featuring instrumentalists like Catriona McKay and Fionan de Barra - the Red Skies Ensemble (a ten-piece string section) and vocalist Sally Docherty will also be there.

The record also features singing by Karen Matheson but she is not appearing on Thursday.
