Just starting out on ukulele banjo and while I know about tuneing the strings, GCEA and ADF#B is there a correct tightnes for the skin? Whow much should the tension rods be tightned?

One of the most touching stories about Banjolele is that Pg Woodhouse's charater Berty Wooster took it up at the chagrin of his man servant Jeeves . In fact in the history of their long time together , The only time Jeeves ever gave notice was when Berty took up " That instrument " . I think Berty's favorite song was " I want and automobile with a horn that goes TOOT TOOT"   . For the fun of it and real inspiration do a search at youtube of " Kitchen banjo " you will have a real treat .. Yours Guy
