I've just heard that Tom Rush has a new CD which will be released by Appleseed on 24th. February. About time too!

Sounds good - but the Appleseed website doesn't say for sure. It may be that it's only being released in the States (as happened with the latest Tommy Sands album too I believe).

Appleseed released both Tommy Sands and Tom Rush, and they are both terrific CD's.   It has been over 30 years since Rush last recorded a full studio CD and the new recording features many of the songs he has been singing during those years.

His privately produced CD, "Trolling for Owls," is only available through his website or at his gigs, but it's worth finding. It's his first recording of just his humorous stuff - both songs and lies - and funnier than the proverbial rubber crutch.

It's available now. I've listened to a few of the tracks and it sounds pretty to me.

I've just heard from Tom who tells me that it should be available in the UK in a couple of weeks.
